The Kingdom Is Within You: Decree the Year You Want to See

As a new season begins, I believe the Lord is speaking a simple but life-changing truth: Don't simply accept the year you think you're going to have—decree the year you believe God has prepared for you.

Too often, we allow circumstances, headlines, or other people's opinions to define our expectations. But Scripture teaches something different. Jesus said that the Kingdom of God is not something to be found "over here" or "over there."

"For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you." — Luke 17:21

That changes everything.

Stop Looking Outside for What God Has Already Placed Within

Many of us spend our lives searching outside ourselves for answers, peace, direction, or breakthrough. Yet Jesus reminds us that His Kingdom has already been placed within us.

The Holy Spirit lives in us—not merely to comfort us, but to counsel us, guide us, and reveal truth from the inside out.

Just as a skilled counselor helps people discover answers already hidden within their hearts, the Holy Spirit continually leads us into the wisdom God has placed inside us.

Our healing begins from the inside.

Our peace begins from the inside.

Our transformation begins from the inside.

The Kingdom works from the inside out.

You Have What You Say

Jesus taught a powerful principle that echoes throughout Scripture: our words matter.

What are you saying over your life?

What are you speaking over your family?

What are you declaring over your future?

When you wake up each morning, you have an opportunity to set your day in motion through faith-filled words.

Instead of rehearsing fear, begin declaring truth.

Instead of expecting lack, declare God's provision.

Instead of speaking defeat, proclaim victory.

Your words become seeds that shape the atmosphere around you.

Don't Beg—Decree

There are moments to pray, and there are moments to decree.

This season, I sense God saying:

Write down the vision. Speak it. Expect it.

Habakkuk tells us to write the vision and make it plain so those who read it can run with it.

Write down what you're believing for.

Write down the kind of year you want to experience.

Write down what you see by faith.

If you can see it in your spirit, God is able to bring it into manifestation.

What Do You See?

The question isn't simply what is happening around you.

The question is:

• Do you see yourself whole?

• Do you see yourself healed?

• Do you see yourself walking in peace?

• Do you see yourself overflowing with wisdom?

• Do you see yourself with more than enough to bless others?

Faith begins with seeing what God sees.

Your sanctified imagination is not something to ignore—it can become a place where God begins to reveal His promises before they appear in the natural.

Loose What Doesn't Belong

When Jesus stood before Lazarus' tomb, He spoke life.

"Lazarus, come forth."

Life called life out of death.

But after Lazarus came out, Jesus told those standing nearby:

"Loose him and let him go."

There are things in our lives we must intentionally loose.

Loose fear.

Loose shame.

Loose old labels.

Loose limiting beliefs.

Heaven has already made provision. Our responsibility is to agree with what God has already declared.

Who Do You Say Jesus Is?

In Matthew 16, Jesus asked His disciples a deeply personal question:

"Who do you say that I am?"

Not who everyone else says.

Not what tradition says.

Not what religion says.

Who do you say He is?

Peter answered:

"You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

Jesus explained that this revelation didn't come through human reasoning—it came from the Father.

That's how revelation still works today.

The Holy Spirit reveals truth from within.

As we grow in our understanding of who Christ is, we also grow in understanding who we are in Him.

Renew Your Mind

One of the greatest principles of living from the Kingdom within is the renewal of the mind.

Transformation doesn't happen automatically.

It happens intentionally.

Paul wrote that we are to be renewed in the spirit of our minds.

Many of us have spent years believing ideas about God that simply aren't true.

Perhaps you grew up believing God was angry.

Maybe you believed you had to earn His love.

But Scripture reveals something entirely different.

God is love.

Perfect love casts out fear.

Renewing the mind means replacing old beliefs with God's truth until those truths become our default way of thinking.

Feed Your Faith Until It Becomes Automatic

At first, declaring God's promises requires intentional effort.

You have to remind yourself.

You have to repeat Scripture.

You have to consciously choose faith over fear.

But eventually, what you practice becomes your default.

Just as driving a car eventually becomes second nature, speaking God's promises can become your natural response.

Instead of worrying, you'll declare peace.

Instead of panicking, you'll declare provision.

Instead of expecting failure, you'll expect God's goodness.

The more you feed your faith, the more your faith begins feeding you when life becomes difficult.

Live From the Kingdom Within

The Kingdom is not far away.

It isn't locked behind heaven's gates.

It lives within every believer through Christ.

You already have access to His wisdom.

You already have access to His peace.

You already have access to His joy.

You already have access to His strength.

The invitation is simply to believe it, declare it, and live from it.

A Decree for This Season

Today, I decree that you will walk in the reality of the Kingdom within you.

I decree that your mind is being renewed by the Word of God.

I decree that the joy of the Lord is your strength.

I decree that God's wisdom directs every decision you make.

I decree that you are blessed in your home, your work, your finances, your health, and your relationships.

I decree that every provision you need has already been prepared by your Heavenly Father.

I decree that you will become a blessing everywhere you go, carrying the life and love of Christ into your family, your workplace, your community, and beyond.

Remember this truth:

The Kingdom of God is within you.

Live from the inside out.

Speak life.

Renew your mind.

Write the vision.

And watch God bring His promises into manifestation.
